Profile Ivan Ostroumov

Ivan Ostroumov is a full professor of the Air Navigation Systems Department at State University “Kyiv Aviation Institute” (KAI). He works in development of theory of classical methods of positioning used in civil aviation. In particular, he developed various algorithms and software for analysis of ground-based network radio navigation aids and their effective use. He is engaged in the study of impact of segregation of particular airspace on the global air transport system. Also, Ivan has numerous scientific publications on the analysis of aircraft trajectories based on open ADS-B data. Ivan Ostroumov is head of bachelors educational and professional program "Systems of Air Navigation Services" which is fully compatible with Manual on Air Traffic Safety Electronics Personnel (ATSEP) Competency-based Training and Assessment (ICAO Doc 10057
